Strategy of EMCC Belgium 2023 / 2025

In order to implement its vision of EMCC, we, EMCC Belgium, will develop our strategy around 3 pillars.

Pillar 1: Quality: EMCC is committed to raising quality standards in coaching, mentoring and supervision. Our vision of Quality includes:

1. High Ethical Standards: We will maintain and strengthen our rigorous ethical standards to ensure that EMCC professionals operate with integrity, respecting client confidentiality and rights.

2. Innovation and Research: We will support research and innovation in coaching, mentoring and supervision to stay at the forefront of best practices and various advances. For the moment EMCC Belgium does not produce research work but we are committed to making accessible what EMCC Global and certain other federations do.

3. Accreditation: We recognize in the accreditation process an opportunity to develop one's skills as a coach, mentor and supervisor by having formalized one's professional project and one's identity as coach / mentor / supervisor, by formalizing Continuous Professional Development, by having implemented a reflective process of its practice with regard to the skills framework and the framework defined by the EMCC, and having learned to develop administrative rigor.

4. Maintaining a legal system: We are committed to continuing to establish both a legal framework and a CR for coaches, but also to remain on standby in order to adapt our framework to any changes coming from the different authorities.

 

Pillar 2: Community: EMCC aims to create a strong and united community of coaching, mentoring and supervision professionals. Our vision for the Community includes:

1. Networking and Collaboration: We will encourage the creation of professional networks among our members, thus facilitating the sharing of knowledge, experiences and collaboration opportunities.

2. Support and Personal Development: We will provide ongoing support, including peer mentoring opportunities, to help our members develop as professionals and thrive in their careers.

3. Welcoming new members and supporting beginning practitioners: We want to help any new coach find their place more easily in the coaching and mentoring market. We will offer members various initiatives such as mentoring of young coaches by veterans and e-marketing workshops.

4. Continuing professional development: We will regularly offer workshops and webinars allowing practitioners to discover new tools, new practices, but also to allow reflection on all the news impacting the practice of our profession.

5. Diversity and Inclusion: We will promote diversity and inclusion within our community, recognizing that a richness of perspectives contributes to excellence in mentoring and coaching.

6. Membership management: We want to modernize our information management system and pool our different systems in order to make administrative management lighter and more automatic.

 

Pillar 3: Society: EMCC aspires to be an actor of positive change in society. Our vision for the Company includes:

1. Positive Impact: We will implement projects and initiatives aimed at using mentoring and coaching to solve social problems and contribute to economic growth and general well-being.

2. Strategic Partnerships: We will collaborate with organizations, institutions and governments to promote the use of mentoring and coaching as tools for personal and professional development at scale. We will also implement solidarity activities.

3. Social Responsibility: We are committed to being socially responsible, ensuring that our actions have a positive impact on society and the environment.
